Sarnia Christian School

About Us

In the year 1950, a group of dedicated Christians formed a School Society acting on their belief and vision of a need for a school, which would provide a Christ-centred education for their children. In 1953, this School Society took a big step in faith and constructed a two-room school on an empty field at the present location.  The year following this, the school’s enrolment almost doubled and two more rooms had to be added. The need for a Christian School had been firmly supported. On November 15, 1957, Sarnia Christian School was officially incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario. By 1961, the school had undergone several additions and the classrooms now numbered eight. More building additions would follow as would renovation phases over the years. A major building project was undertaken in 1983, which provided us with our present facility.

The year 2002-03 marked the 50th anniversary
of the school showing that history has
proven the wisdom and supported the faith of those early founders of our school.
